Using a state-of-the-art ‘Gel-Cream’ technology, the Lip Mask glides onto the skin and envelopes the lips with a soothing, tingling sensation. It contains Papaya Enzymes to gently exfoliate away dry flaky skin, along with 22 Organic Extracts to nourish and soften the skin, and two forms of Hyaluronic Acid to quench skin with hydration. Fine lines and wrinkles are visibly smoothed away with Adipofill’n, a patented L-Ornithine Amino Acid. In just 3 minutes, lips are softer and smoother, with a visibly fuller, plumper lip contour.

HOW TO USE

Spread a generous amount directly to lips. To treat fine lines and wrinkles above the lip line, spread a generous amount approximately ½” beyond your contour. Let sit 3-5 minutes. For deeper lines, let sit 5-10 minutes. Then use a soft damp cloth to wipe off any excess. Immediately follow with KAPLAN MD Lip Balm or Lipstick to seal in hydration.

Important Note: You may experience a mild tingling sensation while the product is on your lips. This is caused by the Papaya Enzymes as it targets and dissolves dry, chapped skin. The tingling sensation is normal, and it will go away after few minutes once the product is removed.

Special Tip: If you experience dry lips while you sleep, use the Lip Mask as a hydrating nighttime lip treatment. Simple apply a thin layer of the KAPLAN MD Lip Mask to the lips, then pat on a light layer of KAPLAN MD Lip Balm. Leave on overnight, and wake up to soft, hydrated lips.

Created by renowned Beverly Hills Dermatologist, Stuart H. Kaplan, M.D., the Perfect Pout Lip Collection is the first complete anti-aging regimen for the lips. Dr. Kaplan created these lip products to address his patients’ concerns about their lips: fine lines and wrinkles around the lips, loss of fullness, loss of color, chapped and flaky skin, as well as sun damage and skin cancer.

If you look at the balms, lipsticks and glosses on the market today, you will see the majority of them do not offer SPF sun protection. In addition, they contain castor oil or petroleum jelly (petrolatum) as their main ingredients, which actually amplifies sun damage to the delicate skin on the lips.

The other two most commonly used lip products that are not good for the lips are plumpers and lip scrubs. Lip plumpers use irritating ingredients to cause your lips to burn and swell. The burning and stinging sensation is uncomfortable, and will cause lips to become sensitive with long term use. Lip scrubs are popular for removing dry, flaky skin off the lips. However, they use harsh particles, such as sugar or ground shells, to scrape off dry skin.
